Shadow Shot Sunday: Dad's Cornet

I pulled this old instrument out of the storeroom and experimented with off-camera flash. Converted to monochrome in Silver Efex Pro. I also liked the version below, processed with an "Antique Plate" filter in Efex Pro. Click to enlarge either image.

Really great shadow shots, David! It's fun to experiment, isn't it?

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Thanks to all for the comments. Magical Mystery Teacher, one normally thinks of trumpets heralding great events, but then your haiku reminded me of the divine sounds Louis Armstrong got out of a cornet early in his career.

After your comment on Ken Mac, how could I not visit?

I love that second photo. Happen to love your state as well. Indiana has some of the most beautiful countryside in the world.

Lovely shots. I like the second one best-the effect is softer somehow.
