great pic and all that. this fern is exotic. is it edible? we have something like that growing in the wild in Borneo and it is edible

I love this shot. There is something about a fern before it opens that is very appealing and you caught it so well in monochrome.

Thanks to all for the comments. Bengbeng, these are considered a delicacy in parts of the US. I ate some in Maine last year. They were quite good.
