You should get one. It's a small investment--less than 30 USD for the basic model.

Not at all. Hadn't thought of it that way, but you're right. One of the interesting things about shooting film is you don't know what you've got till the film's developed. That's especially true with toy cameras like the Holga, since the viewfinder only gives a rough approximation of what will be captured on the film.

Nice perspective. Ah the joys of Tri-X. I'm tempted to get a larger format camera but alas, my film scanner is 35mm only. My budget is small format too. LOL
