Abe, I was first drawn to your bird photography, but as I have followed your various blogs (even the steroid-fueled ones), I have been inspired by all your creative talents--drawing, calligraphy, writing, etc. Thanks for the link to Mr. Friedl's blog--it is fantastic! You are indeed fortunate to have experienced Japan's culture firsthand. Someday I hope I can do the same.

Your work reminds me that some photographers are always exciting to see or visit and you are among those.
I lived in the Army in Japan as a young man and was introduced to cameras and photograph in 1953. So I like Japan even today.
You can spend hours there. Let me know if you do not come away totally inspired.
