Monochrome Weekend: T. Rex

From Wikipedia:

"Sue" is the nickname given to FMNH PR 2081, which is the largest, most complete and best preserved Tyrannosaurus rex specimen ever found. It was discovered in the summer of 1990 by Sue Hendrickson, a paleontologist, and was named after her. After ownership disputes were settled, the fossil was auctioned in October 1997 for $7.6 million, the highest amount ever paid for a dinosaur specimen, and is now a permanent feature at the Field Museum of Natural History in Chicago, Illinois.

Sue has much to tell us, even now. I like the black and white photo.

Nice photos David. That sucker is big (was big). LOL My first car was a Dodge Dart, a well used one I might add. My second car was far more interesting, a Volvo, the first model imported into the US. It looked like a smaller version of an old ford with a split windshield, stick shift on the floor. I always parked on hills so I could start the thing because the coil was cracked and the battery would drain.

For years the T.Rex was demonstrated as plodding and heavy... now look at twinkle-toes.
