Scarlet Tanager

Scarlet Tanager

On yesterday's photo expedition up and down the street here along the Lake Michigan shore, I stopped to review some pictures on the camera's LCD, and this beautiful specimen landed on a tree across the street.

Thank you for the well wishes David. I appreciate it.. This is a beautiful bird and I would love to see one. The closest I get to an orange bird is the occasional male Baltimore Oriole....Thank you for posting this to Nature Notes.. Michelle

David..I went back and remembered my quote about nature and physicians and thought of you...I do love my docs especially my neurologist and immunologist as they have helped to improve the quality of my life by working with my MS symptoms, especially the pain. They listened and cared as I am sure you do.. Michelle
